THE KINGDOM!
“Kingdom Exploits”
“But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:31-32).
“ … but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits” (Daniel 11:32b).
The Kingdom is the key to Kingdom Exploits! The Church has the upper hand, because we hold the key that grants access to doors that open to kingdom exploits. The key is the Kingdom, and we have the keys of the Kingdom. Matthew 16:19 says, “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
God desires for His people to focus on His Kingdom! In other words … to perceive the Kingdom … to pray the Kingdom … to pursue the Kingdom … to proclaim the Kingdom … to promote the Kingdom … to preach the Kingdom … to possess the Kingdom … to practice the Kingdom, etc. Focus on everything that the Word declares that the Church should do pertaining to the Kingdom!
Jesus is the King of Kings! The Bible masterfully relays the narrative about our King and His Kingdom. Luke 16:16 says, “The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.” In general, Christendom is often concerned about getting earth into heaven, but additionally the kingdom also is concerned about getting heaven onto earth. Matthew 6:10 says, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.” We must be about our father’s business … and that is Kingdom business! In other words, God wants what’s happening in heaven to happen in earth! In fact, in the future, the New Jerusalem will come down to earth.
Jesus is establishing His governmental kingdom authority upon the earth. (Isaiah 9:6) This is the original authority of dominion power prior to the fall of mankind. Under submission to God’s authority, the Church has been equipped with everything necessary to be victorious in His kingdom. Luke 7:28 says, “… Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.” How powerful!
It is evident that the objective of God is to establish a rulership through relationship, and for us to be sons of God, rather than just servants of God, and heirs, rather than hirelings. God even has dispatched angels who battle and minister to and for us, the heirs of salvation. So, come, and together let’s do “Kingdom Exploits,” for perhaps “you have come into the kingdom for such a time as this!”
