” A Revival of Generosity. ”
The book of Acts is replete with examples of believers responding in generosity as the Spirit moved upon them. The end-time revival God is giving us will be marked by a contagious generosity among the body of Christ. Because Christ has given so generously to us how can we withhold anything He asks? (Read: II Kings 4:1–7; Matthew 6:19–21.)
So, please pray the following:
I. Acknowledge that everything belongs to God (Psalm 24)
Thank God for his provision, protection, and power.
Acknowledge Him as the Owner, Creator, Sustainer, and Giver of everything.
Release everything (paychecks, debt, investments, savings, children, jobs, spouses, houses, cars, body, etc.) into God’s care.
II. Ask God to help us value what we have more than what we want (Philippians 4:11–12)
Ask God for an attitude of contentment (I Timothy 6:6–8).
Bind the spirits of worry, fear, anxiety, selfishness, and greed.
Release a spirit of creativity, inspiration, and resourcefulness.
III. Commit ourselves to pour it out (II Kings 4:1–7; Luke 6:38; 16:10)
Ask for wisdom in using our treasures to expand His Kingdom.
Pray that He will open our eyes to empty vessels to pour our treasure into (poor, souls, ministry, missionaries, etc.).
