Liberty and Justice
” A Godly Nation! “
America was founded on principles found in God’s Word. However, we, as a nation, have strayed away from liberty and justice for all. There is no justice for the unborn and the weak among us. Because of the shedding of innocent blood, the door has been opened for the enemy to bring the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah into our nation. God has been merciful to us and allowed a pandemic to awaken and revive His Church to intercessory prayer.
It is time for Christians to take a stand. We must form a united front against the adversary, attacking his lies and deception at the root. The root of injustice is disregard for the Biblical truth and scientific fact that all mankind is created equal and made in the image of God. And that is what Satan and his antichrist hate. The enemy is using the past to incite anger and violence, which is not a new tactic for him, but many are buying into the lie. We cannot deny past wrongs, but we also must not disregard what is good and praiseworthy. We cannot allow divisions in the body of Christ. We must come together as a united force to defeat the enemy in battle. In Christ, there is no ethnicity, gender, servant, or master. We must fight the good fight of faith as we seek to establish a godly nation.
We do not have the power to change the past. We do not have the power to stop the climate from changing. We do not have the power to change who God created male or female into whatever we desire. We are not God. This mindset comes from the one who desires to sit on the throne of God, calling himself God. America’s critics, who would like to rewrite the past, placing themselves in the position of God, are following the antichrist. It is not his time. It is time for America to be that One Nation Under God, with liberty and justice for all. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance” (Psalm 33:12).
The following excerpts are criteria quoted by General Superintendent David K. Bernard for officials who were elected in the past. Let’s pray for the following, and that we would have righteous leaders, giving thanks, and making intercession for them.
Pray for:
Respect for human life: including the vulnerable, unborn, seniors, poor, minorities, immigrants, support for families, defense against terrorism and state aggression, and Israel’s right to exist.
Justice: civil rights, equal justice under law, rule of law (including official accountability).
Freedom: conscience, religion, speech, press, peaceful assembly, protection of religious institutions, and judges who uphold the Constitution.
Economic freedom and opportunity: limited government, limited regulations, local self-determination, education, health, and environment.
